Colorado has passed the Colorado Digital Tokens Act which defines digital currencies as well as gives limited exemptions to securities laws and licensing registration for crypto focused firms. The legislation was proposed in January along bipartisan grounds and signed by Gov. Jared Polis, a crypto advocate.
