🇹🇼 Taiwan lawmaker pitches AML rules amendment to include crypto

Taiwanese lawmaker Jason Hsu proposed for crypto to be included under Taiwan’s Money Laundering Control Act in an amendment announced on Tuesday. Crypto exchanges in Taiwan will become obligated to record transaction records and reports of suspicious activity as part of preventing money laundering once it takes effect.
