Stablecoin startup Reserve to offer payments app in Venezuela ‘soon’

Stablecoin app startup Reserve is launching its U.S.D. pegged stablecoin Reserve Dollar (RSD) to help Venezuelans switch between U.S.D. and Bolivars. Conversion costs only a 0.1% transaction fee and is specifically designed for hyperinflation situations like Venezuela, according to Reserve's CEO Nevin Freeman. The app will soon be available on Google Play and is also being launched in Angola.
