Peer-to-peer exchange Hodl Hodl will open source its code in 2020

Hodl Hodl, a peer-to-peer digital asset exchange is working to open source its codebase in an effort to allow anyone to iterate on their exchange design and because of fears of regulatory action against decentralized exchanges. The regulatory fears were expressed by the exchange's executives at the Bitcoin Baltic Honeybadger Conference in September. By open sourcing their code, Hodl Hodl hopes to mitigate some regulatory risk.
