The total number of bitcoin ATMs worldwide recently crossed 3,500 after crossing 1,000 nearly a year and a half ago. Of those 3,500, a total of 2,900 are spread between the United States and Canada. Bitcoin ATMs allow users to buy or sell cryptocurrencies using cash.
