🌏 Myanmar’s central bank warns against trading crypto due to volatility and scams

The Central Bank of Myanmar has issued a warning about the dangers of trading cryptocurrency, according to Southeast Asia's The Irrawaddy. In the release, the central bank said cryptos are being traded on Facebook profiles and other websites without authorization--as the country has placed a ban on the practice--but no legal vehicle exists to suppress the activity. Central bank figures believe volatility can lead to lost money, enough reason to ban trading.
