⛓ LocalBitcoins trader sentenced to a year in prison

Los Angeles Bitcoin ($BTC) trader, Theresa Tetley, has been sentenced to one year in federal prison after admitting to operating an unlawful money transmission business. Tetley worked as a trader on LocalBitcoins under the name "Bitcoin Maven" and reportedly exchanged millions of dollars worth of crypto from 2014 to 2017. Prior to this, several other lawsuits have been made against US-based traders who use LocalBitcoins.
