Lighting Labs has released its non-custodial Lighting desktop app, the first major company to do so alongside smaller competitors like Bluewallet. The app is available on MacOS, Windows, and Linux and implements Neutrino, a light weight method to verify transactions off the Bitcoin ($BTC) state. Lighting Labs has not yet announced a mobile version launch date.
