🗾 Japan not considering approval of Bitcoin ETF, FSA denies reports

A spokesperson for Japan’s Financial Services Authority (FSA) shot down speculation regarding approval of a Bitcoin ($BTC) ETF. Last week, multiple news organizations including Bloomberg reported the FSA was leaning towards approval. The FSA reasserted its anti-ETF and anti-futures position, stating it sees no need for a cryptocurrency related derivative at this time.
