Today, Jan. 23rd, Diogo Mónica and Nathan McCauley formerly of Square and Docker announced digital asset custodian Anchorage. Raising $17 million in a series A fundraising round from the likes of Andreessen Horowitz and Papal co-founder Max Levchin's SciFi VC, Anchorage is claimed to be the first institutional custodian more secure than cold storage alternatives while boasting active on-chain participation.
