🇮🇳 India: Banking Research Institute issues blueprint on blockchain implementation

India’s Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) published a road map for the banking and financial sectors adoption of blockchain technology. The road map argued for regulation to allow for mass adoption as well as gave groundwork for how financial institutions will interact over decentralized platforms. The IDRBT was created in 1996 by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to study technology changes in the banking sector.
