🗾 Five Japanese banks launch blockchain-based financial products

Five large Japanese banks — Bank of Iwate, Bank of Yokohama, Aomori Bank, Akita Bank and Yamanashi Chuo Bank — are collaborating on a blockchain finance platform called "Fitting Hub", per a joint press release. Coin Telegraph reports that, according to Fitting Hub’s website, the new project aims to provide secure financial authentication and settlement functionality services.
