Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) filed a report in May stating that he owns between $17,000 and $80,000 in Bitcoin ($BTC), Bitcoin Cash ($BCH), and Ether ($ETH). In June, the House Ethics Committee passed a rule that subjects cryptoassets to the same reporting requirements as other assets owned by members of Congress. Rep. Goodlatte chairs the House Judiciary Committee, and his son is an investor in Coinbase.
