Electrum wallet is adding support for Bitcoin’s Lightning Network

Crypto wallet Electrum is close to announcing native support for Bitcoin's ($BTC) Lightning Network, according to CoinDesk. Electrum chose to develop its own implementation and not integrate with existing Lightning clients to give "users control over their funds," says Electrum founder Thomas Voegtlin.
