Cryptopia, the New Zealand cryptocurrency exchange, has officially stopped trading on its platform and appointed liquidators to work with authorities to determine the company's obligations to its users and shareholders. Cryptopia announced earlier this week that it has failed to recover from a severe hack in January, which is the reason for the liquidation. Hackers are thought to have stolen around $16 million worth of cryptocurrency.
