📉Crypto market rife with pump-and-dump schemes, study shows

A new academic report found nearly five thousand groups dedicated to pumping cryptoassets across Telegram and Discord. Using data scraped from the sites between January and July of this year the researchers identified 3.767 Telegram groups and 1,051 Discord groups focused on pump-and-dump schemes.
