🏦 Coinbase adds new chief compliance officer in institutional push

Jeff Horowitz recently joined Coinbase as chief compliance officer, a title he previously held at Bank of New York subsidiary Pershing LLC. Horowitz, who has served on the Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group at FinCEN and is currently on advisory boards at SIFMA and FINRA, will focus on anti-fraud and AML programs at Coinbase. Crypto exchanges are increasingly looking to create custody solutions and other services for institutional investors interested in trading and investing in cryptoassets.
