Token-backed blockchain project Blockchain Terminal has threatened a lawsuit against Larry Cermak, head analyst for The Block, claiming defamation after the site published a report diving into the true identity of the project's founder. According to The Block's reporting, which was done by Frank Chaparro, not Cermak, Shaun MacDonald, a leader of Blockchain Terminal, was actually convicted hedge-fund fraudster Boaz Manor. The suit, which had not been filed at the time of reporting, seeks $40 million and a retraction.
