Bitstamp hires Coinbase's former head of institutional business development

Hunter Merghart, formerly of Coinbase's institutional business development, has signed on with Bitstamp to lead its New York office. The exchange received a BitLicenselast month, the 19th company to do so. Meghart will focus on institutional clients in New York, expanding the European exchange's reach to U.S. markets.
