Bitfinex wants to launch Tether on the Lightning Network

Bitfinex, the exchange connected to the popular stable coin Tether ($USDT) wants to implement the token on the Lightning Network. Bitfinex CTO Paolo Ardoino said in an email to The Block, “I think that is one of the coolest things we could ever being involved with. We really love LN (I personally do a lot) so we want to make sure we learn and contribute to it with our resources." Tether currently runs on Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron, with plans to launch on EOS also.
