⚡ Bitcoin Lightning tech expands beyond invoices in step toward better UX

Lighting Labs CTO Olaoluwa Osuntokun has published a rough draft proof of concept code for static Lightning addresses. The code will sidestep the usual invoice request method, which requires a unique code for every transaction, making sending and receiving Bitcoin ($BTC) over the Lightning Network more efficient. With the new code, parties do not need to be aware of one another to complete transactions.
