👾 Bancor experienced a security breach with a total of ~$23.5 million stolen

At approximately 00:00 UTC, July 9th, 2018, Bancor ($BNT) experienced a hack and lost 24,984 ETH (~$12.5 million), 229,356,645 NPXS (~$1 million), and 3,200,000 BNT (~$10 million) after the hackers compromised a wallet used to upgrade some smart contracts. Though the stolen BNT was immediately frozen by the Bancor Protocol, the hackers were able to keep the ETH and NPXS.
