gDAI Vault Sunset
The Gains Network team announced that the gDAI vault will be deprecated, with the goal of reallocating the vault's over-collateralization layer toward more active and efficient vaults to strengthen liquidity and improve trading conditions 1. New DAI trades were disabled starting November 12, 2025, entering close-only mode, while stakers saw deposits disabled with withdrawal-only functionality remaining active 1. As the gDAI TVL declines, yields will gradually decrease to zero, and users are advised to withdraw and convert to USDC to continue earning yield through the gUSDC vault 1.
Fee Discounts for GNS Stakers
Gains Network introduced tiered fee discounts for GNS stakers, ranging from 5% to 50% depending on the amount of GNS or gGNS staked 2. This discount is additive to the existing volume fee discount, allowing users to reduce fees through both avenues simultaneously 2.
